Works of the coral symphony and instrumental music of the baroque up to the modern time are presented in the framework of chamber music performances as well as with symphonic concerts, taking place in loose sequences. (See in addition Concert series)
 

Apart from the care for the classical repertoire, the presentation of contemporary music is a special request of the orchestra.
 

Sinfonietta brought numerous works, among other ones of Herman Berlinski, Ludger Vollmer, Thomas Kupsch, Uwe Krause, Matthias Drude, Dietrich Lohff, Sang- Eun Lee, Steven Rosenhaus and Karsten Gundermann to the premiere.
